London: Maggs Bros. Ltd., 1942. 1st Edition . Very Good. 5.75 x 8.25 inches (14 x 21 cm). Volume I. Green buckram binding. Spine has red morocco title and volume labels plus gilt decoration. Top page edge gilt, foxing to page edges and endpapers, a few occasional spots to text. Contains catalogue numbers: 7638, 644, 667, 681, 695, 700, 706, 710, 714 and 719. Original wraps bound in at rear. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (C.A.O. Fox). The first of Maggs' bound travel volumes. Scarce, especially in this condition. Includes the original receipt from Maggs (15s/7d). Overall condition is Very Good. Size: 5.75 x 8.25 inches (14 x 21 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: xxxix, 402
