Octavo notebook, Wages & Board Wages in gilt to label on front. The book has hand written accounts for servants wages from 1843 to 1861 ( approx 250 pp) House has a staff of around 14 including Housekeeper, Butler, gardener, 4 housemaids, coachman, groom, kitchen maids and footmen, the annual wages are shown with the quarterly payments signed for by employees, also shows date of starting and ending employment. There is no address for the house but there is the address of Mr Isiah Kingham a charcoal burner of Christmas Common Oxfordshire which suggests the house was in that area. Staff names include Alex Brown, Edward Hussey, John Dobson, Mary Powell, Thomas Wise, Elizabeth Curtis, Lucy Cripps, Caroline Webbe, Caroline Lunnon , Jane Ware
