About This Item
NY: Grosset & Dunlap (1939). First Edition . Hardcover. Four volumes, all in very good to near fine dust jackets, with the jackets having a little edgewear. The four books are all fine. The authorized edition of the Metropolitan Opera Guild, with lavish color illustrations by Alexandre Serebriakoff. The four volumes are housed in the original slipcase, which is very good with some rubbing and the spine sunned from red to pink. There is a crack at one hinge of the case, but it is still sturdy and square, and fits the books perfectly.
