In 282 pages, + extra ads for other Whitman books in rear, this one (#1567) is in Near Fine condition: incredibly clean & tightly bound with just a bit of rubbing. Protective acetate covering is intact; no tears or peeling. Colors bright, no fading. Single flaw is short tear to top edge of free front endpaper. All pages show moderate-heavy tanning, especially around edges, commensurate with age & paper quality, but unmarked. A beauty!
