Very good copy with tape ghosts to boards, spine cocked, and toning to text block. Jacket shows some use at corners else very good and nicely preserved. Original price of $2.75 intact.
Uncommon first edition of this fourth book in the Lily Wu and Janice Cameron series of mysteries set in Hawaii, a Crime Club Selection from Doubleday. Juanita Lorraine Light (Sheridan) (1906-1974) was born in Oklahoma and moved to Hawaii shortly after the depression and a stint as a screenwriter in Hollywood. She wrote four novels, all part of the Wu and Cameron series, and claimed much of the action in her works came from real life experiences.
