Very Gently Read. Book Interior VERY FINE/ Boards Very Fine/ Dust Jacket Very Good. Sewn Binding. Boards and spine are brown cloth, lettering gilt. Dust jacket has wraparound colour photo and white flaps, lettering white, one black/white photo on back flap. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has minor edge wear and a few small chips, has a lot of rubbing to the colour on the front and back edges and quite a bit on the dj back cover and some on front cover, spine is slightly sunned, 1/2 inch rip at top of dj spine (paper in place), 1/8 inch rip at top of dj back fold, dj is complete with no holes or paper missing. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, one very slightly bent corner, no spine creases. Inner end papers are gold or ochre. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Book is very slightly over-opened at title page but binding is not broken, no rips or loose pages. Owner’s name, date, ink on ffep. 32 Black/white photo plates. Maps. Full index.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
