W. & R. Chambers Ltd., 1938. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1938. First Edition. 271 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with a photographic black and white frontis and plates throughout. Moderate tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and heavy foxing to text block edges. Rear hinge is cracked with exposed netting. Boards have visible rubbing and edge wear with mild bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and heavy foxing and sunning to spine.
