Concord, ON, Canada: Belsten Publishing. Good. 1990. First Edition. Paperback. 091938711x . viii + 134 pp. Illustrated with maps and photographs. Beige card covers with 1880s illustration of war in the mountains of Waziristan. Covers are clean, just a bit of shelf wear. Interior clean and unmarked. Reed spent a year on the North West Frontier of India at the close of WWII and recounted stories from the experience for year afterward. The book is composed of excerpts from a manuscript which Reed had written with the intent of having it published. After his death in 1989, it seemed appropriatethat these stories appear in printed form. ; 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall .
