Nonesuch Press, 1938 Clearly stated, as required, 'First Edition 1938' on the copyright page. The unclipped jacket is protected but there are some damaged sections, none of them 'live', and the book has a neat inscription on the end paper. Rust coloured fine cloth binding is not sun damaged, gilt titling to spine, solid covers with delightful chamfered edges, and the text block is stained on the top.
