Half-title present. 497pp. Interesting two-page paste-downs and flyleaves front and back with Bohn's Standard Library listings, as issued. 26 steel engravings and 200 superb wood engravings in the text by many different artists of the period. This edition rarely found in the original cloth. One half-inch tear to top of spine at inner margin, slight wear to extr. of spine, else a very good tight copy. Scarce thus.
