1985: Saddlebag Books, 1985. First Edition. Original wraps. Near fine condition. 8vo., pp 251, historical photographs, index. Signed by the author in ink over his printed name in the introduction. "Ray Pendergraft was born in 1905 in a lonely pioneer cabin at Big Trails, Wyoming. He was weaned on stories of the Chisholm Trail, Custer's Last Stand, the Johnson County War and the Spring Creek Raid. A son of Washakie County's first sheriff, Ray was Worland's first chief of police and a justice of the peace. From personal recollection, oral histories, and scholarly accounts he has drafted a regional history covering the years 1742 to 1972".-goodreads.
