Lanzarote, Islas Canarias: Fundación César Manrique, 2003. b/w and color plates, port., bio/chron., bibl., color pict. fldg. wrps. A retrospective exhibition on Barcala (b. Uruguay 1920, immigrated to Spain in 1974, d. 1993), of selected pieces from his different creative periods: figurative (1946-1950), abstract (1961-1964) and the most fertile part of his career, where the artist develops the style "organic constructivism" . The last includes his series titled Chatarras (scrap metal) temperas of flowing strokes and his Cajas (boxes) tridimensional objects assembled with the leftovers thrown away by a consumer society. Anything may be returned for any reason within seven (7) days of receipt with prior notice. The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
