About This Item

David Atwood. Used - Good. 1882. Hardcover. 8vo. Green cloth with gilt-stamped title on spine. 430 numbered pp. 2 portraits and 1 fold-out map. Minor scuffing to cloth, some rubbing along edges, ends of spine. Corners of front board slightly bumped, bottom corner frayed. Crease in rear free endpaper. Occasional underlining and marginalia in pencil, primarily between pp.15-29, 47-61, 68-71. Patches of discoloration between pp. 250-1, presumably from removed clipping; small piece of tape still present on header of pp. 251. Map creased; tape covering tear in its first fold. Despite those flaws, map is still clean and bright. Else fine. A sound copy in otherwise very good condition. Howes B-1068. Good. (Subject: Americana & Regional History).
