A Very Good copy of the First Edition. 4to. 362pp., with 12 color plates (including frontispiece; all plates accounted for), and b/w and green vignettes throughout. Original green cloth with gilt titles on spine and front board, with a mounted color cover illustration (two babes frolicking in the surf). Moderate shelfwear, light rubbing at the corners, and soiling along the bottom edge. (binding is tight, hinges are not broken).
