London: Batsford. Bound in uniform light blue buckram cloth with bright, gilt titles to spines, this three volume hardcover set is VG in VG dustjackets (unclipped). Volume One, (Second Edition, 1967), "The Eighteenth Century": X11/243pp with Introduction 14 Chapters, 242 illustrations and Index. Volume Two, (First Edition, 1967): "The Romantic Period" X1/243pp with 14 Chapters, 235 illustrations and Index, Volume Three, (First Edition, 1968): "The Victorian Period":XV/398pp with Foreword, 11 Chapters, 3 Appendices, 287 illustrations, Bibliography, Sources, Indexes. All endpapers present/unmarked, and top edges are blue. The three hardcover books are all VG plus. The three dustjackets are all 100% complete but have one or two very tiny closed nicks or miniscule marks: in general they are VG in VG dustjackets . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1967.
