It first appeared in print the year prior, in a limited edition printed by Morris's own Kelmscott Press.The work of famed British artist, textile designer, and socialist William Morris.The novel follows a young woman named Birdalone, who embarks on a quest to find a magical water, travelling through a succession of strange and wonderful islands. Throughout her journey, Birdalone encounters fantastical creatures, a witch, and knights.With an advertisement leaf to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with bumping to back strip head and tail. Small losses to paper spine label head and tail, with paper significantly age toned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good
