Estonian translation of the novel "Watling's for Worth: A Romance of an Emporium" by a prolific English writer Horace Annesley Vachell (1861–1955) first published in 1925. In the focus of the novel is a love story set in a London department store and conflict between the social classes. "Watling's is a great London shop and Watling himself, energetic, crusty, self made, but wise and golden hearted". The young aristocrat falls in love with a daugher of self-made merchant Watling, but young man's family disapproves of his relationship. However, he goes agains the will of his parents and Starts to work in her father's shop to prove his worth.
