Spine is toned. Bookseller or owner's stamp on endpapers. "Stanley-Gordon-Jack Schultze Bros. 48th and Broadway." Prior owner's name on front flyleaf "Gordon Schultz 4717 West Broadway." The frontis is detached but present. Pages xii - xiii have smudging. Text is toned, with occasional foxing. Illustrated with full-page plates.
