Contains the long two-column poem "Litany" (two voices) and 47 short poems. Trade paperback in landscape layout, glossy pictorial wraps with sticker-remnant smudge and vertical crease to front wrap, wraps curled, a few marks on back, inside front cover and ffep stained brown from previously laid-in newspaper clippings, lighter tan stain on pp. 98-99 where a clipping of three other poems by Ashbery is still laid in, small chips to fore-edge of p. 33-34. Check mark in the ToC next to name of the title poem; other pages unmarked.
