A some-sheat glamorized (yet disturbing) children's portrait of war focusing on Cuba's Moncada garrison, which describes the 1953 Cuban revolution.and buildup to the eventually successful takeover by the revolutionaries. Illustrated by 26 Moncada children. Translation to English by Jorge Chavez. Pictorial Laminated Boards. 94 pages with colour illustrations. Very slight wrinkling of laminate covering and minor soiling to a few page ends. Cornesrs square, page tight and unmarked. This is assumed to be a first English language edition. Believed to be first published in Spanish in 1973.
