New York: Boni & Liveright, 1924. Third printing, 1925. Not an uncommon book but with the bookplate of American naturalist, explorer and author William Beebe (1877-1952) inside the front cover. The engraved bookplate features the image of an archeopteryx, a lizard-like bird, with his name below. The book is bound in green cloth and has edgewear, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with no names or other markings, no dustjacket.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
