Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Gilt-stamped green cloth spine with green paper over boards and a gold illustration on front board, fore-edge deckled, 64 pages, illustrated with woodcut illustrations. First edition, first issue without "1st printing" on copyright page, and with "Roams" in final line on page 44. Inscribed and signed by Robert Frost on front free end paper.
