CHILTON BOOKS, 1965. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 1965, Chilton. Near Fine hardcover, in Good dustjacket. Full bound brick red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Binding is solid and square, with no writing inside or out. A couple of tiny dark spots to foreedge. Dustjacket shows original price of $4.50 to inside front flap. Rubbing to front and rear panel, very minor wear to head and heel of spine. Scrapes along upper left front (along the hinge), with sme color loss and a few spots worn through the paper. "The intimate, smetimes shcking life stry f one of the wrld's truly great singers.... In this moving and human book, she tells in detail of her failures and privations and sufferings, even her despair. She also writes of her courage and of course her love affairs. But most imprtant f all, she tells of the songs for which she became world famous.
