These songs and chants express concepts which were as obvious and natural to the Indian as electricity is to present-day society. They were not contrived for idle entertainment, neither were they sung for the benefit of a few discerning listeners; they were part of the tribal fabric, full of meaning and power--direct communications with the infinite. Condition: Previous owner's name to half title, edge wear, corners bumped else a very good copy.
