About This Item
New York: Arbor House Pub Co, 1987. Book. Very Good Minus. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Printing. Full number line. The text block is solid and square but has staining on top of text block and slightly down into the front though the spine is tight, boards rigid and tips pointed. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped but has stain around top as well, looks like it was coffee. Looks satisfactory in a shiny new mylar cover.
Synopsis
When Gravity Fails is a cyberpunk science fiction novel by George Alec Effinger published in 1986. It was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel in 1987 and the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1988. The title of the novel stems from the lyrics of Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues, a Bob Dylan song: "When your gravity fails and negativity don't pull you through".
