He was also a member of the Algonquin Hotel Round Table. This volume is a collection of his observations, tales, anecdotes, personal portraits, and reminiscences. This is the stated sixteenth from October 1935 of the 1934 edition. Red cloth binding with gold lettering on front board and spine; no fading but minor bumping to top and bottom of spine. No marking inside except for a bit of foxing at hinge area of front and back boards, and the previous owner's seal on title page. Unclipped dust jacket has some minor wear at top and bottom of spine and a repaired tear at upper fore edge area of front board. Some glue residue on the inside flaps, but no major damage. Spine has darkened slightly. Now Brodart covered to prevent deterioration. 328 pages.
