From the collection of Tony Bill, whose credits include "The Sting" (1973, producer), "Soldier in the Rain" (1963, actor), "Shampoo" (1975, actor), and "Five Corners" (1987, director-producer).

Light foxing to the top page edges, and a faint stain on the jacket verso, else Near Fine and unread in an about Fine dust jacket. Laid-in note folded horizontally, else Fine.

Synopsis

Lorrie Moore is the author of the story collections Birds of America , Self-Help , and Like Life and the novels Who Will Run the Frog Hospital? and Anagrams . Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Best American Short Stories , and Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards . She is a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
