Small quarto paperback, 170 pages, illustrated. An unusual book. It tells the story of Arthur Munro, a science teacher at Belmont High School (NSW) and then Science Subject Master at Raymond Terrace High School. In 1981 at the age of 51 his bicycle was hit from behind by a truck and he suffered multiple injuries, including to his brain. There was a change of personality and loss of short-term memory; later epilepsy developed. But Arthur retained one major ability - the ability to express himself and explain with precision his feelings and experiences in words, preserved here. A unique first-person account. Scarce! Minor corner wear, back cover bit creased, but fairly good.
