Ttitle page printed in red and black. 356 pp. Illustrated with photographic plates. A tight, very good example, small owneship signature top edge front free endpaper, shallow wear at the foot of the spine. The author's first book, based on hius journalistic experiences during and just after World War I, an account of the reasons which caused Central Europeans to emmigrate to America, Russians to rush to Constantinople, Greek royalty and comoners to leave their land, and, interestingly, why the English and Scottish "emigrate" to pubs at night.
