Soft crushing to spine ends. Water staining and white marks to boards. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Loss to spine ends. Some tanning to spine. Noticeable rubbing to surfaces. Scuffing to edges.

Ink check marks and note on page with "Novels by Dornford Yates" opposite title page. No other marks except that "Lady in Waiting" on the rear flap of the dust jacket has been crossed out, presumably by the publisher, with "Wife Apparent" printed below. Dust jacket has slight chipping at head of spine and wear at folds and corners.

Rubbing present to the top of the spine, tanning to the front end paper and foxing to the edge of the text block only. Otherwise a very good clean copy with pages free from markings or damage.
