Pages are age tanned but clean. Binding is tight. 8vo. Previous owner's signature on fep dated 1931. Translated from the Norwegian by Arthur Chater. Undset won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1928. Unlike her masterpiece Kristin Lavransdatter, The Wild Orchid is set in 20thC Norway. 1931
