London: Swan Sonnenschein & Co, 1899, 2nd Edition. 8vo, pp131 illustrated throughout in b/w by W. Parkinson. Hardcover no dust jacket. Original green cloth binding with gilt design of said pig to front cover and gilt lettering to spine. A little shelf wear to top and tail of spine and tips of the bevelled boards, otherwise in very good condition. inside front free end paper partly stuck to paste down, all pages in very good/clean condition although the hinge has cracked p69 but binding still holding well. A lovely copy of this "A thrilling story of porcine life, manners, and morals" and "long may the family live to 'rout', to 'snout' and to 'snoozle'.
