A title in the Argonaut Series, edited by Sir E. Denison Ross and Eileen Power. First American edition. Translated from the Dutch by Mrs. C.B. Bodde-Hodgkinson and Peter Geyl. Introduction and notes by Professor Geyl. A lournal of the adventures experienced by W.Y. Bontekoe of Hoorn on an East Indioan voyage begun on 18 December, 1618 and completed on 16 November, 1623. No previous ownership marks. A square, clean, internally unmarked copy. Several small marks to red cloth and gold spine lettering darkened and faded. Still a quite acceptable copy of a very difficult to find title in English. Near very good.. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Near Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
