About This Item

Cleveland, OH: Canon of Trinity Cathedral, 1930. Hardcover_cloth. Collectible - Near Fine. 5.75"x8". 126 pp. Tan cloth boards w/Beige frame for title. Tan cloth spine. Frontispiece of Bishop Leonard. Intro by The Right Rev. Warren Lincoln Rogers, Bishop of Ohio. Spine straight, binding tight, pages clean and bright. Not x-library, and unmarked other than PON stamped inside front cover. One light soil spot to front cover. Preface: The little book has been an undertaken in obedience to a command - but yet it has been a labor of love. The Writer is keenly aware of his inadequacy for the task; but his very long and close association with the subject of the sketch, and his familiarity with most of the palces in which Bishop Leonard lived, may, in some degree, justify his selection. He asks a kind and sympathetic judgement of the work; he asks that it be regarded not as a literary venture, but as a wreath which he lays upon the tomb of a dearly loved friend, an honored guide, a revered master.
