About This Item
Macmillan, London, 1973. Publishers Proof Copy. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition / Rebound/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Illustrated. List of illustrations, acknowledgements, a note on dates, list of maps, bibliography, notes, genealogies and index. The text is illustrated throughout with black-and-white reproductions of contemporary illustrations and maps. Green coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A biography of King William III and his Queen, Mary. The book looks not only at the historical context, their private and domestic lives as well. Rubbing of the book corners and back strip edges. My feeling is that the book has been rebound as a hardback as the first page after the free front end page states that this is a uncorrected proof copy  and they usually came as a softcover version. Light browning and marking of the text block edges and pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Illustrated. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 1-2 kilos. Category: Biography & Autobiography; Royalty; England / The Netherlands; 17th century; History. ISBN: 0333124510. ISBN/EAN: 9780333124512. Inventory No: 0289070. . 9780333124512
