Philip Dadd. 1st Edition 1904. 3rd state according to the bibliography.(A5a3) Two pages of adverts.The book is average but quite bright. Front endpaper missing. Page signatures repaired and glued to the reverse of the spine. Nice tight text block. Pages edges/signatures a little un-even. Cloth lightly rubbed and soiled in places. Coloured blocking and gilt work dull in places. Edges rubbed in places. Contents average with usage, general marks and thumbing to pages. Some pages quite marked.Plates and tissues guards all present. Some tissue guards with small loss, soiling/foxing and nicks. Plates a bit marked and rubbed. One plate quite worn to top edge.Not a great example but shows quite well. More images can be taken upon request. Ref 14856
