Small octavo, rust brown cloth covered boards with gilt titles. 248 pp. including Table of Contents at rear. Illustrated with frointispiece standing portrait of author and drawing of horse with numbered "Names And Situations Of The External Parts Of The Horse". One or two other engravings. "Also A Treatise On Shoeing; Educating Cattle and Dogs, With Hints On Stable Management; With the rules and Regulations Of Trotting, Racing and Betting". Includes "tips" for the Jockey. The volume is sound, tight and iinternally clean, without tears, creases, foxing etc. Pencilled name on ffep and rear endpapers. Spotted cover with a lentil size piece of clath missing on spine. Not beautiful but sound and with an undamaged interior. Very good minus. VERY SCARCE..
