Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 1/2" by 5 1/4" by 7/8". Burgundy cloth binding, gilt lettering to front board and spine, embossed emblem to front board. Some marking and scuffing to binding, discolouration to spine. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, tear at top of outer rear hinge. Slightly bumped and torn corners. Slackness to binding, cracking to rear inner hinge, but book contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit marked, lower edges deckled. W. H. Smith library bookplate to front pastedown, with stamp. Previous owner name in pencil on front free endpaper. Torn corner to one of rear catalogue pages. The odd mark to page surfaces but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
