London: Carey & Claridge Ltd., 1972. Hardcover. Cream cloth covered boards, decorated in gilt. Near fine, in very good dust wrapper. 29 pages. 25 x 19 cm. The author brings to light the history of Champagne - The annals of Rheim record that Jean and Nicolas Moët were magistrates of the city in the early fifteenth century - it is believed there was a Moët in Rheims as far back as 1369. Illustrator Graham Rust is internationally known for his murals, ceiling paintings as well as the many books he has illustrated including the 1986 Godine edition of The Secret Garden. Interior crisp and clean, dust wrapper lightly rubbed at edges. Covered in protective mylar.
