Pale orange cloth boards with deep orange plane and island decoration on cover, deep orange spine with airplane decoration, lighter orange lettering. Very light soiling. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Clean beautifully illustrated endpapers. No names, writing or marks. Illustrated title page. Illustrations by Monte Crews. 263 pages. Dust jacket is quite clean (a little water marking to inside front flap edges) , not price clipped (2.00 on front inside flap), has slight edge wear, short closed edge tears, a few tiny edge chips; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Written for boys, this story is alive with action and scientific adventure.
