New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1933. First edition. His third collection of stories, fourteen in total with nine being published for the first time. The book itself is fine with the gold labels bright and the barest wear, in black dust jacket with minor chipping on corners and bottom of spine and two larger chips at top of spine which do not affect the lettering.
Synopsis
Winner Take Nothing is a 1933 collection of short stories by Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway's third collection of short stories, it was published four years after his most recent novel, A Farewell to Arms (1929), and a year after the non-fiction book about bullfighting, Death in the Afternoon (1932).
