Victor Gollancz Ltd., 1951. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1951. Second Impression. 254 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth with black lettering to spine. Pages are moderately tanned with notable foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's pen and pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Moderate dog-eared corners. Occasional grey thumb-marking present throughout, with a tiny tear to half title page. Boards have light shelf-wear with mild corner bumping and minor crushing to spine ends. Slight tanning to spine, with a subtle bow overall. Faint rub marks on front and rear board. Small dent to rear board.
