About This Item

London: Chatto & Windus, 1924. Hardcover. First Edition, First Impression. 5 x 7.25in. 396pp.; 356pp. Publisher's cloth boards with gilt titling. Blue top-stain. Both volumes are in VERY GOOD condition in Near Fine dust jackets protected in removable archival covers. The books themselves show the slightest shelf rubbing of the extremities, spines lightly tanned, endpapers evenly and naturally toned, former owner name neatly on each endpaper, otherwise they remain Fine having been exceptionally well maintained. The rare dust jackets show the spines very lightly rubbed and very lightly tanned, a small spot of discoloration on the spine of Vol. 1, topmost of the spines nominally shelf rubbed, otherwise remain exceptionally bright, colorful, and distinct. As fine an example as one could hope to find. As pictured.
