Doubleday, Page & Company. Good+ in Fair dust jacket. 1926. Hardcover. Binding slightly loose, but still staying together nicely. Pages bright and unmarked throughout the interior, though the edges possess some light tanning. Spine straight, minor fraying and wear at the top. Dark blue-black cloth cover has light shelf wear but is in good shape, gilt title on front still has some luster. Lettering on spine starting to fade. Dustjacket is present in mylar cover and staying together, but has several tears, chips, and instances of discoloration and soiling along the edges and spine. Despite this moderate-heavy wear, the DJ is still entirely legible. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 211 pages .
Synopsis
In the private editorial office of the principal newspaper in a great colonial city two men were talking. They were both young. The stouter of the two, fair, and with more of an urban look about him, was the editor and part-owner of the important newspaper.
