Adhered card to front fly with inscription by Hale, dated January 18, 1905, which states "I am glad to do what you wish." Yellow cloth boards with gilt text to front and spine, as well as an emblem to front board. Previous owner's bookplate to front endpaper. Exterior corners slightly rubbed (see image). 106 pp. 5 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches.
