New York: Blue Ribbon Books, Inc, 1934. Very Good. New York: Blue Ribbon Books, Inc., 1934. Second Printing without publisher's imprint to spine. Lacks waddles. Large octavo. 211 pp. 8 full color plates. Light green cloth stamped in black with full color paper label illustration to front. No dust jacket.
Boards gently worn along edges and corners slightly bumped. Binding is sound. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown, but pages otherwise unmarked.
Final three pages include instructions on how to assembly the "waddles," which could be put together as full 3-D color figures, unfortunately lacking here. Still a very good or better copy of the first Oz book with many of the original Denslow illustrations present.
