London: Walton press, 1964. Octavo. 248 pages. First edition, first impression. Hardcover gilt-lettered boards in illustrated dust jacket. From the dust jacket, "The phenomenon of the transsexuals complete mental and physical change of sex makes absorbing - astounding - reading. In the annals of medical history nothing ranks so outstanding as an entirely successful operation that changes a ma into a woman, that destroys the male body and transforms it into the glorious body of a beautiful young girl'. The author notes that "The reader is carried along the emotional wave that reaches crisis-point when the boy in the book, reaching young manhood---at last he sees himself in a long mirror--- a complete and lovely young girl, with luxurious hair, a perfect figure and radiating feminine...". Dust jacket has small 1" closed tear on front, spine slightly chipped. Clean and crisp, this book is in very good condition overall.
