Pictorial endpapers. xvi, 403 pp. [4] colour plates, incl. frontis, plus full-page B&W illustrations in text. Damp stain to fore edge of rear board, very slight sunning to spine, light bruising to upper corner of front board. A two-book compilation with re-writings of well-known Greek myths in a volume for children. The book includes the myths of: Theseus and the Minotaur, Antaeus and the Pygmies, Dragon's Teeth, Circe's Palace, Proserpina, Ceres, Pluto and the Pomegranate Seed, and Jason and the Golden Fleece.
