About This Item
Hardcover Book in Dust Jacket. Early Edition. Binding square and tight and contents clean and unmarked. Front paste down illustration in excellent condition with vibrant colors. Covers show light bumping at tips. Jacket is whole and complete and shows rubbing edge wear and chipping. I have enclosed the jacket in a removable mylar sleeve to protect it from further wear. This copy has the following 1st Edition points: 16 page gatherings, $1.50 price on jacket, b&w illustrated end pages, Illustration on pages 292-293 correctly laid out and Chapter Numbers at top on left hand page/Wonder City of Oz at top of right hand page for pages 306 - 318. The Jacket is not first issue however, despite the $1.50 price since it lists through the next title in the series (Scalawagons of Oz) which was published in 1941. A very nice, collectible copy of this scarce title.
