Quarter black cloth over textured brick red paper-covered boards with gilt title to spine and to front board along spine edge. Lower corner folded at page 41; otherwise, pages and plates are clean, bright and umarked. Text block is clean and unmarked. Light red marking to rear pastedown; otherwise, decorative endpages are clean and bright. Boards are clean and bright with light bumping and rubbing to corners. Spine has sunning and soiling. Binding is tight and square. Slipcase has signs of shelf wear with rubbing, scuffing, bumping and chipping to extremities; top edge torn at sides.
